"RA-One" Review:

Here's a movie the Hindi film industry can be proud of. "Ra.One" can be touted as the first Hindi film that blends the elegance of Hollywood with Indian sensibilities.

From the very onset, this classy sci-fi film sets the viewers' adrenalin soaring. It also educates, entertains and eulogises our culture. And, very predictably, from the very beginning you know that the crux of the film is about how good triumphs over evil.
"Ra.One" dwells into the virtual world of today's youngsters who are hooked on to technology and video games.

Prateik (Armaan Verma) is one of them. For him the villain is the hero simply because he does not play by the rules. It's winning, by hook or by crook, that matters to him.

Shekhar Subramanium (Shah Rukh Khan), the clumsy, nerdy game developer father of Prateik, lovingly tries convincing his son with, "Allow me to quote...." and quotes Mahatma Gandhi and such like. The youngster is unimpressed, thereby revealing the generation and cultural gap between the two of them.

Disheartened by the strain in the father-son relationship, Shekhar develops the invincible Random Access One (Ra.One), who can take any form, to please his son. Still not fully convinced with his own creation, as a standby he also develops Good One (G- One), who could exterminate Ra.One if need be.

Excited with his father's creation, Prateik plays Ra.One with a screen name, Lucifer. He manages to cross level two of the video game, thereby antagonising "Ra.One". Unknown to Shekhar and his team, Ra.One steps out of the game into their real world to eliminate Lucifer, thereby threatening Prateik's life.

This concept of the characters sliding from the virtual world into the real world seems to have been inspired from the Hollywood film, "The Purple Rose of Cairo".

"Ra.One" is an outright Shah Rukh Khan film.

The way Shah Rukh gracefully slips into the roles of Shekhar, Ra.One and G-One, leaving no room for confusion, is remarkable.

He is the superhero of the film. That's because the script was skillfully and convincingly put together by Anubhav Sinha, Kanika Dhillon, Mushtaq Sheikh and David Benullo. The dialogues by Kanika and Niranjan Iyengar are good in parts.

The little gimmicks by Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra and Rajnikant add to the lighter moments of the film but take the story nowhere.

Shahana Goswami as the employee at the electronic company and Arjun Rampal as Ra.One look fine for the roles they play but have very little to deliver. Armaan as Pratiek is impressive.

The outfits of Ra.One and G-One designed by Robert Kurtzman and the bright production design are worth a mention.

Vishal-Shekhar's music and the background score along with the awesome stunts and thrilling chases are electrifying. The film would not have been what it is if it was not for Resul Pookutty's sound design, Sanjay Sharma's editing and for the visual and special effects team.

With all the minor blemishes, this movie is still worth seeing at least once.

This high energetic film is loaded with antics, animation and action. With many thrilling sequences mounted with grandeur, it gives you the feel of a live video game. It is probably one of the classiest movies seen in the Hindi film industry and a feather in Anubhav's hat.
Appearing onstage atop a tree house, the superstar rocked the tousled trademark blonde hair, red lips, and over sized glasses of the movie star.
Sitting at the piano in a tan gown, she purred "Happy Birthday" to President Clinton, who is celebrating his 65th, before she belted out "Born This Way." In her tribute to the actress, who sang for President Kennedy, she told the audience, "I always wanted a Marilyn moment -- but didn't want it to involve pills and pearls."
But he was warned: Bill Clinton admitted that when he invited Lady Gaga, she told him her idea. The president, who had a quadruple bypass in 2004, joked, "I got nervous when Gaga said she was planning to have a Marilyn moment and I thought 'I will have a heart attack for my 65th birthday.'"
Instead of a Marilyn moment, what fans got was pure Gaga. The megastar changed the words of "Bad Romance" to "Bill Romance." To the surprise of the president, his wife, and his daughter, the singer proceeded to strip off her dress to reveal a tan body suit underneath -- and serenade the president, who was sitting just a few feet away from the dance diva. But the Lady won over the former First Family, who were caught up in the performance, dancing to the beat.
Before the end of her set, Lady Gaga had one last trick up her sleeve. The quick-change artist added one last shocker: a jacket that made her look topless. As Lady Gaga made it clear, nobody can top that.

http://www.facebook.com/desizone
HoaXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12255338049426833418noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432975005876844139.post-66401682157605767062011-10-16T04:29:00.000+05:002011-10-16T04:29:55.556+05:00Kim Kardashian Will Play Movie with Shah Rukh Khan

<span lang="EN" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS";">

<span lang="EN" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS";">

<span lang="EN" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS";">Kim<span lang="EN" style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS";"> Kardashian interested in starring in Bollywood film with Shah Rukh Khan.
I’ve spent way too much looking at photos of Kim Kardashian’s crazy face. Often I just stare at
photos of her, trying to pinpoint exactly what is happening,
plastic-surgery-wise. There’s a nose
job, some eye work, lip injections, Electrolysis to remove facial hair and change her
hairline, and, of course, regular Botox injections, but those are the
only things that I can really identify using older photos of Kim as a
reference. But it’s only in the last year or so that I’ve begun to
understand why Kim looks to alien-like most of the time - she wears a
crapload of makeup. In particular, eye-makeup, and she must wear the
biggest, most drag-queeny fake eyelashes out there, because they look
scary. Now Kim (and her sisters) are admitting something that we’ve
known for a long time: they’re “trannies” - about makeup, at least.

Kim Kardashian is outing herself and her sisters — as
trannies! The reality TV star says she and her siblings, Kourtney and
Khloe, have always piled on cosmetics ever since their late father
Robert Kardashian hired a professional make-up artist to give them
beauty tips.
She told website xoJane.com: “He said, ‘My daughters are going to
start to wear makeup and I want you guys to look at least presentable,’
which I thought was really cool. And we’ve turned out to be the biggest
trannies because of it.”
However, Kim admits not everyone has been impressed with how the
sisters apply their make-up.
She said: “We had publicists and people who would tell us, ‘Girls,
tone it down. Stop wearing all the makeup.’ But then we would read on
our blogs - like in the comments and everything - and everyone was like,
‘What lipstick is this, what mascara do you use?’ We were like, ‘We
love make-up, so why try and be what we’re not?’”
Khloe insists they don’t mind the criticism as she knows they don’t
need to wear a lot of makeup.
She said: “We joke and say we are like trannies because we love hair
and make-up. I don’t think we necessarily need makeup, but we love it.
But Kim definitely, if you take off what’s on her face, her face is the
exact same. She doesn’t need it. It’s just like a mind thing to her.”

What do you think about the use of “tranny” as a pejorative about
makeup usage? Because there are honest-to-God transvestites who want NO
PART of the Kardashian insanity, and they don’t like these bitches
giving them a bad name. I personally think it would be appropriate to
use “drag queen” when describing the Kardashian ladies’ general style,
makeup usage and hair. But I often use “drag queen” to describe women
who go overboard, so maybe there’s not such a big difference.
As for Kim and whether she “needs” makeup - she’s seen sometimes with
little to no makeup on Keeping Up the Kardashians, and she does look
different without it - better, in my opinion. Kim in particular needs
to stop overdoing it, because she often looks clownish. Khloe tends to
go for a more natural look, so I have no complaints there. And
Kourtney… I’ve never really paid attention to anything other than her
consistently wrong lipstick shades (she always wears orange-red, and it
looks like crap on her).
YAY!!!!!! As I’ve been discussing for more than a month now, Shane
Warne and Liz Hurley are absolutely
perfect for
each other, and they have decided to make each other the happiest
cat-faces in the world! Liz tweeted the above photo, of Liz being lit
from the dazzling glare coming off of Shane’s new teeth, with the
message, “Thanks for all your congratulations.” What were
people congratulating her about? Well, it seems that Friday night,
Shane proposed to Liz in St. Andrews, Scotland, where
they went on a golfing holiday. Huzzah! Liz and Shane have been
together at least ten months (that we know of), including the time they
spent having an affair whil Liz was still married to Arun Nayar.
Sometimes, when two cat-faces click, they just click:

Happy news for Elizabeth Hurley! The Gossip Girl actress
and model, 46, is engaged to her boyfriend of 10 months, Australian
cricketer Shane Warne.
Reportedly getting down on bended knee at the Old Course Hotel in
Scotland Friday, Warne, 42, is said to have proposed during dinner at the hotel’s Road Hole
Restaurant.
Though a hotel source declined to comment on the couple’s dinner, a
source confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly.
“They are engaged!” reports the insider.
Flashing a giant sapphire and
diamond engagement sparkler Saturday, Hurley Tweeted a photo of the pair
prior to their dinner, along with the message “Thanks for all your
congratulations.” Warne then copied the message onto his own Twitter
page and circulated it to his followers.
It will be the second marriage for both Warne and Hurley, who
finalized her divorce from hubby
of four years Arun Nayar in June.

Now, will they ever end up walking down the aisle? Probably, I would
think. Shane has his own money, I believe (he’s one of Australia’s
most famous cricketers), and it’s not the bait-and-switch situation that
Liz found herself in with Arun - where his parents were the ones with
money, and Liz and Arun lived like millionaires, not billionaires. Now,
will Shane and Liz last? Who knows? I’ve long suspected that Shane is
Liz’s ultimate “fixer-upper” project - she’s remaking him, like she’s
Prof. Higgins and Shane is Eliza Doolittle. Shane seems more than happy
to oblige, and I honestly think he adores her. I don’t mean to be too
naïve about the couple though - he’s a known womanizer and Liz is rather
sleazy. Is it too much to think that they’ll be able to figure it out
and live happily ever after?
These are photos of Liz & Shane yesterday in Scotland. What is
she doing to his ass?

As you may remember, Rihanna
was just named as the replacement-crotch for Armani, taking
over from Megan Fox. I welcomed Rihanna because she 1) eats and 2)
doesn’t have a cat-face that changes month after month, year after year
because of so much surgical and Botox intervention. However, once I
got sight of the Rihanna-Armani ads, I was disappointed. They put her
in a dumb blonde wiglet, and she looked like crap, which proves to me
that whoever is in charge of Armani’s ad
campaigns is a total moron. So…with that in mind, check out
Armani’s new Beauty 2011 Christmas Collection ads, with Megan Fox. Yes, while Megan was
replaced at the spokes crotch of Armani’s underwear and jeans lines,
she’s still the official cat-face of Armani beauty products, so these ads are designed to get you
to buy Armani
makeup for your lady friends for Christmas.

I have to say… these ads aren’t as spooky and alien-like as some of
Megan’s previous ones. Maybe I’m just getting used to her Official 2011
Face, or maybe the Photoshop wizards were having an off day, but Megan
actually looks recognizable in these ads. She also looks surprisingly
Caucasian - in
the last set, I could have sworn Megan was Asian. Still, there is
something busted about Megan’s face. Just because it’s not as bad as it
used to be, it’s not a significant improvement.
Reid Explains Why He Dropped Lady Gaga From Island Def Jam

Lady Gaga's meteoric rise to superstardom can be attributed to her catchy songs, shocking costumes, and wild media antics.
But her perseverance is arguably the personality trait that has benefitted her career the most.
This week, L.A. Reid, "X Factor" judge and former president of Island Def Jam, confirmed reports that he stalled Lady Gaga's music pursuits early in her career. Reid signed the "Born This Way" singer to IDJ but released her from her contract within a few months.
Reid explained his dealings with Gaga during an interview with Access Hollywood. "One day this artist came to my office. She played piano. She had white gogo boots all the way up to here, thigh high boots. She sat down at that piano and she played and she sang and when she was done I said, 'You are an amazing artist, and you will change music.' And I signed her. Her name was Lady Gaga," Reid said.
But when Reid heard Gaga's demos three months later, he had a change of heart. "It was a work in progress, and I was having a bad day," Reid said. "I said, ‘You know, I really don't like it. You know, let her have her freedom. Let her have her career. Let her go find it.' It was the worst thing I've ever done."
Lady Gaga cried for an entire day after receiving the news, the artist said during an interview for the MTV special, "Lady Gaga: Inside The Outside."
But she got over it, ultimately landing a record deal with Interscope Records, a company that supported her artistic vision and helped her become one of pop music's biggest stars.
Lady Gaga is one of many of today's household names that were also rejected by major labels before landing big breaks. 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, and Beyoncé were also met with similar setbacks.
Alicia Keys had been signed to Columbia Records for two years before her recording contract was terminated and she pursued other options.

"Sony (Columbia's parent company) hadn't really figured out what to do with her, lots of changes had taken place at the company, and Alicia wasn't happy there," Peter Edge, the A&R executive who later brought her to Arista Records, told Hitquarters.com. Edge said Alicia and her manager were savvy enough to get out of their deal.
Things were much more traumatic for 50 Cent, who also initially had a deal with Columbia Records. 50's conflict with the label wasn't the creative process -- it was the rapper's personal dramas that created the tension.
According to 50 Cent, Columbia Records abandoned him after he was shot nine times.

In a 2009 interview with U.K.'s "Daily Mail," 50 Cent described the impact the executive decision had on his psyche. "Being dropped by my record label hurt more than being shot," he said. "I was shot in May 2000 when I was sitting in a car. You don't actually feel each bullet hit you. The adrenaline is pumping and you're trying to get out of the way."
50 Cent said the blow to his ego was far more painful. "I had just signed to Columbia Records and they dropped me because of the shooting. I could deal with every bullet wound but I can't take that."
Within two years, however, the rapper born Curtis Jackson had found a better label home on Interscope Records, teamed with both Eminem and Dr. Dre. 50's Interscope / Shady / Aftermath debut, "Get Rich Or Die Trying," released in 2003, definitely lived up to its title, making 50 Cent one of hip hop's most successful rappers to date.
Arguably, the most shocking of all the artist firings is the one that involved mega superstar Beyoncé, who was previously in the girl group Destiny's Child.

Before calling themselves Destiny's Child, the Houston-based group was known as Girls Tyme. In 1990, they actually competed on "Star Search," but lost. Within a few years, they joined Elektra Records.
The group moved to Atlanta to work on an album, but the label decided to cut its losses, and dropped them.
Matthew Knowles, Beyoncé's father and manager of the group, said that when the then quartet lost its recording contract with Elektra, it made them work harder.
"That was the defining moment, when they were dropped by Elektra," Knowles said when speaking to students at the University Of Southern California last January. "I quit my job and everyone thought I was nuts."
Knowles clearly knew what he was doing. Destiny's Child made its debut on the soundtrack for the Will Smith blockbuster "Men In Black," released on Columbia Records, the label they would ultimately join. Alicia Keys also made her debut on that soundtrack.
Not only did Destiny's Child set sales records for girl groups, it also spawned Beyoncé's solo career, which includes a series of multi-platinum albums.
"American Idol," "X Factor," and "America's Got Talent" contestants should find some comfort in knowing that the star grooming process involves massive amounts of rejection. They should learn to take it in stride.
L.A. Reid's explanation for why he let Lady Gaga go was revealed during a week full of shocking admissions as outtakes from the televised Michael Jackson trial circulated throughout the media. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame announced the nominees for its 2012 induction ceremony. Beyoncé admitted that her heightened sense of smell during her pregnancy is causing her to hate her husband's cologne. And the reps for country icon Randy Travis said the singer is recovering after taking a recent fall on stage.

http://www.facebook.com/desizone
HoaXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12255338049426833418noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432975005876844139.post-67755782423280082942011-10-02T17:37:00.000+05:002011-10-02T17:37:59.710+05:00This Halloween, Watch for Angry Birds

Lock your doors! Shut your windows! Hide your birdseed! This Halloween, the Angry Birds are coming for you! The makers of the hit videogame have launched a line of costumes based on the game's cranky characters. There are outfits for babies, kids, and adults. The baby costumes are cute and relatively inexpensive at around $25. Adults who wish to go as an Angry Bird will have to surrender $49.99 plus shipping, as well as a sizable chunk of their dignity.
Online interest in Angry Birds costumes is already soaring, despite the spooky night being a month away. Over the past 24 hours, Web searches on "angry birds costume" jumped 26%, while related queries on "angry birds halloween costume" and "angry birds costume for sale" tweeted their way to triple-digit gains.
This isn't the first time the Angry Birds franchise has extended its considerable reach. There have been T-shirts, toys, spin-offs, and more. Heck, there have even been unofficial Angry Birds birthday cakes. Clearly, the game inspires a lot of passion.
For those who have been living in a cave without their iPhone, the game is a physics-based puzzler in which the player launches angry birds at various structures in an attempt to knock them over and squash the nefarious pigs. The game has been a tremendous hit on multiple platforms, including Android and Apple's iOS. The game, despite no longer being the new bird on the block, is still tremendously popular in Yahoo! Search, currently ranking in our top 500 overall terms.

Celebrity getaways are often in luxe locales, such as Seinfeld's mansion in Telluride, CO.

In this paparazzi age, celebrities aren’t even close to safe when they leave Hollywood for vacations. Anyone with an Internet connection or anyone who has waited on a supermarket checkout line is bombarded with images of stars romping in the waves on tropical shores, with captions judging their levels of fitness... or lack thereof.

Hollywood types like to vacation in Malibu, but the following homes are located all over the place—the Caribbean, ski destinations, the downeast coast of Maine, and upstate New York. Oh, and some of them are, in fact, in Malibu.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have previously offered their Balinese-styled getaway home on the celebrity-studded Broad Beach for rent in the summers for $95,000 a month, and now it’s it's for sale , or for rent at a reduced rental price of $80,000. Reduced or not, that's still a lot of scratch. What would the renter or purchaser get for all that? The home includes three suites (the master bath has a Chinese onyx spa-inspired bath), a media room, a designer kitchen, plus a guest house with meditation or guest room, and a workout room.
Kelsey Grammer

Wouldn’t you like to get away? Sometimes you wanna go where nobody knows your name. Or maybe not, because Kelsey Grammer, the former "Cheers" TV show star, is selling his enormous mountain ski retreat that was once featured in Architectural Digest.
Grammer has been on TV much longer than he’s been a skier—he’d only been at it for about two years when he bought the house. In addition to the wine cellar, stone flooring, vaulted ceilings, nanny quarters, and deck, the structure’s building materials have an intriguing history. The hardwood was salvaged from an 18th-century Chicago warehouse.

Martha Stewart

It’s well known around Seal Harbor that Martha Stewart has been a summer resident for more than a decade. Her getaway home on 63 acres, Skylands, was originally built for automobile tycoon Edsel Ford in 1925, with grounds designed by Jens Jensen. Martha is only the third owner, and told The New York Times, “I won't even say the price, but you can say it was one of the best purchases of property since the Louisiana Purchase.”
That bargain included the cars and original furniture. Even the refrigerators are original, and in the same article Stewart reports they are working just fine: “You can put a whole cow in them. They're fabulous.” We could tell you more about the property here, or you can see every detail and photo one superfan blogger has managed to gather.
The following Skylands detail is unsubstantiated Internet fodder, but entertaining nonetheless: One unflattering account of Stewart's wrath on trespassers mentions that the stones on Skylands’ pink granite drive are annually removed, washed, and then replaced.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have been unloading a bit of real estate lately, such as the home featured on their reality series—later sold to Christina Aguilera—and their main residence, a mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif. The couple have been trying to sell or rent out this midcentury beachfront home for years, formerly listing the rent at rates as varied as $25,000 and $40,000. It has a library, walk-in closets, security features, and multiple beachfront decks and terraces.
Jerry Seinfeld

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s massive Telluride, Colo., compound on nearly 27 acres is being offered fully furnished. The renovated circa-1991 mansion has a wet bar, lofts, and a guesthouse. As for those beautiful natural surroundings, outdoor features include a 5,500-square-foot deck, which is an expanse bigger than many people’s actual homes. (“What is the deal with that?”) The property also includes hiking trails and a creek, and views of Sunshine and Wilson Peak.

Guys want genuine women in their lives. They want to know who you are and what you’re about right from the start. Women don’t want their guy to change mid-relationship, and guys want the same thing from a partner. Knowing this, I’ve compiled a list of the top nine things that my male listeners and readers feel should never, ever be fake about you:

1. Sharing your man’s interests
Often, women will feign interest in activities that they would never normally do in order to get to the first date with a man and to keep things moving along once they’re seeing each other. Don’t go crazy for his favorite football team, develop a love of white water rafting or suddenly crave Ethiopian food if those things simply are not true to your character. He will eventually see through it or be greatly disappointed when he didn’t get the outdoorsy woman that he always dreamed of once you grow tired of it. A man would rather you admit early on that you’d try something new just for his sake than to act like you absolutely love something that you have totally hated all your life.

2. Friendships with other men
Do not act like your guy friends are purely platonic when you’ve actually dated (or hooked up) in the past with some of them. Guys understand that you can be friends after the romance ends, but they really want to know whether or not Bill, who you have lunch with every day, is simply a work buddy or a former flame. Your boyfriend doesn’t want another guy knowing intimate details about you without his knowledge. Being honest about this area of your life is key in how he chooses to interact with them and whether or not he’ll accept your friendships with these men.

3. What you want out of the relationship
Be clear about what you want out of love. Do not tell him that you want something casual when you know that you have already planned the wedding out in your head. Don’t say you want to settle down when you are juggling 10 other guys on the side. He wants to know what the goal is in your dating game so that he can decide whether or not to continue playing along. Also, easing into a relationship doesn’t guarantee that you will be able get something deeper going down the road with him if you change your mind.

4. Your opinion on his circle of friends
Do not act as though you like his friends and family when you really don’t. Men have been caught in this trap many times by believing their woman was comfortable around — and even enjoyed spending time with — their inner circle, only to find out months later that she was actually miserable. He would much prefer that you were honest about which people you enjoy being around and which ones you don’t care for. Many relationships are lost when an annoying friend or family member is always around. Let him know your true feelings about his circle so that he can make adjustments to make you more comfortable.

5. Your overall look
Men love a beautiful woman, whether she’s all natural or full-on glam. However, most feel that you should be just as stunning at 6 a.m. as you were the previous night out at dinner. Men get the magic of makeup, heels and even Spanx — but they want the “natural” you to be just as captivating. Plus, they want you to be just as confident and sexy without all those props as you are with them.

6. What goals you’d like to achieve in the future
Don’t approach him as a high-powered career girl and then, once you move in together or get married, decide to quit working to stay home all the time. Men like to feel that they know what type of partner you will be down the road, and if you are secretly hiding a passion to work abroad, become a soccer mom, or dig into a few more degrees, he needs to know this so that he can make a more informed decision about your overall relationship compatibility. The truth is, he has a picture of the “ideal” family life in his mind — just like you do.

7. Your desires in the bedroom
Some women pull out all of the “big guns” in the bedroom early in the relationship only to cool things down once a man’s hooked. Men feel that the way a relationship starts out sexually is where it should stay, and if you are playing around and pretending to be something you’re really not in order to get a ring, he will be devastated. Be your true self in the bedroom and you’ll have a better chance of building a sustainable relationship.

8. What you find attractive about him
Why are you interested? Why are you there? If you’re interested in him only because he is a fabulous lover, tell him that. If you are only interested in him because he is powerful and successful, be honest about that, too. Most men (like women) know their strong points and their weaknesses. He’ll know what really see in him and will be greatly surprised if your actions and words line up with his thoughts. Bottom line, he wants to know what attracted you in the first place so that he can maintain it and keep you interested over time.

9. Your romantic history
Be clear about your past relationships and love history. He wants to know who he should be on the lookout for, who hurt you the most, which one is “the one that got away” and who you still have to deal with regularly because of things like kids, a job or a family member. Men do not want to be surprised by your past lovers, and they also want to try to avoid doing the things that let you down or hurt you in the past with other men.

http://www.facebook.com/desizone
HoaXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12255338049426833418noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432975005876844139.post-57857031807527299732011-08-28T01:04:00.000+05:002011-08-28T01:04:29.292+05:00Can You Spot the Hidden Images in These Famous Logos?
You’ve seen these famous logos countless times on billboards, passing by on trucks, and at the grocery store, but there is more to them than meets the eye. If you take a closer look, you will find that these recognized logos have hidden images and messages. Check out these inventive designs that cleverly use white space and optical illusions to display subliminal messages.

 Le Tour de France
Named the world's most famous and prestigious cycling race, bike-lovers and non-cyclists alike are familiar with the event's emblem. However, you might be missing out on the logo's most interesting aspect. After careful examination, you'll notice an image of a person riding a bicycle; the yellow circle is the front wheel and the r is the body.
“I was stuck in rush hour traffic. There was a new silver Mustang in the lane next to me. Mustang drivers always notice other Mustang drivers, so I pulled up next to him and slowed down so I could get a good look, flashed him a flirty smile, and revved my engine a little. After eight miles of flirting in stop-and-go traffic, he called out, asking whether I would like his number. We dated for three months until I realized the only thing we had in common was our love for our Mustangs. But it sure was fun while it lasted!”

We talked a little, and then she said she remembered me coming in the previous month. The next time I went in, I decided that I would ask her out. The only problem was that the bank was very slow that day; the other tellers weren’t busy. This caused a problem! Asking her out was one thing, but asking her out with several other people listening to everything we were saying is altogether different. I chickened out, but still wanted to ask her out, so I went back two days later. She was working the drive-thru window and I was inside. When the teller asked how she could help me, I asked if I could talk to the teller at the drive-thru instead. They exchanged places for a moment. I then asked if she’d like to have dinner with me. She said ‘Sure,’ and we went out that night!”
Dialing a wrong (but right!) number
“The oddest happenstance for a date was a call I made to a friend that ended up being a wrong number. For some reason, I asked her if she knew the person I was calling, and she didn’t. Somehow, the conversation segued into what she was doing; she was about to go skiing. We talked for awhile, then hung up. I had her number in my cell, and — strange as it may sound — a day later, I called again and we talked some more. This continued a few more times until I text-messaged her to see if she was seeing anyone. She wasn’t, so I asked if she would meet me at a small, local bookstore for coffee — and she did! And that’s how our relationship began.”
A friend and I were walking along the beach and saw some guys on a boat looking at us through binoculars; then, we watched as one of them dove overboard and started swimming towards us. He asked if we’d like to join their party water-skiing for the day. We were in a very public place with lots of people around, so we agreed... and they treated us like princesses, fed us wonderful lunches and we all had a great day! Then, they joined us for s’mores at our camp site — they were all perfect gentlemen — and got our numbers. I ended up dating one of them, Steve, for a couple of years.”
Rihanna Spends $23,000 a Week on Stylist

Being a style maven isn't easy. Since 2008's Good Girl Gone Bad album release, Rihanna has chopped her locks into a bob, a mohawk, a half-shaved pompadour, a mushroom with blond streaks and most recently, she's been rocking a steady stream of various red wigs - with one in particular giving her the unflattering nickname of Sideshow Bob of The Simpsons fame.

Just listing some of her hair changes makes my scalp itch. As the saying goes, beauty is pain and in the case of Rihanna, it's not only her scalp that may be in pain, but also her wallet. Ursula Stephen, a top celebrity stylist, who has worked with RiRi since the beginning of her career, charges the style star about $3,200 a day, which totals out to about $23,000 a week, according to the Daily Mail. According to a member of her entourage, in additon to giving Rihanna hairstyles that keeps her name a buzz, she's also become a close friend of hers, which could be another reason why she may not be willing to let go of the expensive hairdresser. "Rihanna likes to pioneer new styles but it's costing her a fotune. Ursula is a close confidant and they are together all the time."

Maybe one day Rihanna can do like us regular folk and learn to DIY her looks. On the bright side, at least she doesn't have a $1 million collection of wigs (ahem, Beyonce) and hasn't said she may need to start using Rogaine (ahem, Lady Gaga).

http://www.facebook.com/desizone
HoaXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12255338049426833418noreply@blogger.com0
