Here’s a way to make your Easter eggs a little more unique this year: decoupage! My kids and I tried it out a few years ago and they loved it.
We used origami paper and two sizes of shaped hole punches to cut out shapes in the spectrum of colors. Then we set a bowl of Mod Podge in the middle of the table and gave each child their own sponge brush. It was great fun. See another photo below and learn the trick to get the color to instantly stick to your eggs.
Here’s what we learned, give the boiled eggs a rubdown with vinegar before putting them in the dye bath and the color will be more intense.
