It is ergonomically correct in so many ways. One of the issues with sitting long periods of time is the stress that is placed on the back as well as on other parts of the body. With the Surf Chair, this stress is alleviated. All aspects of the body are cushioned by strategically placed pillows.
The head rest is also at the correct angle to look upon an LCD monitor that hangs directly in front of the eyes. There is no need to move your neck to look at an improperly placed LCD that is either to high or to low.The only issue I have with the Surf Chair is the keyboard. It appears that the keyboard will rest on the users lap. This of course is the norm for many people who do surf the net this way, but a nice added feature would have been a keyboard rest with wrist pads as the wrists are one of the most vulnerable areas of the body, prone to repetitive injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
